On Wednesday members of the ASC Comp team and SBA team had an Emerald Pools adventure. After climbing into the traditional "Emerald Pool" for a few jumps, the crew headed upstream in wetsuits through the frigid waters of the South Yuba. The water flowing from the bottom of Lake Spaulding is chilling on even the warmest of days. After negotiating several long "must-swim" pools, and jumping off several opportune cliffs along the way, the group found its way back to the road with an improved appreciation for the beauty of this area.
